Asia’s Premier Water and Wastewater Event | April 7–9, 2026 | Kuala Lumpur Convention Centre
Our team attended Asia Water 2026, which brought together utilities, technology providers and policymakers from Southeast Asia and beyond.
Discussions at the conference centered on three themes: the growing use of AI in utility operations, industrial water reclamation amid rising data center water demand, and Malaysia’s national target to reduce non-revenue water to 28.8% by 2030. Several speakers also discussed moving beyond efficiency and loss-reduction toward “net-water positive” models, where organizations aim to return more clean water than they draw, alongside circular water economies that treat, reuse and recirculate water rather than discharge and replace it.
The exhibition featured flood early warning and hydrological monitoring systems, consumer filtration products ranging from portable filter bottles to household and faucet-mounted systems.
