Mr. Sam KF Tsen, Life Member of the Malaysia Stormwater Organization (MSO) and a Certified Professional in Erosion and Sediment Control (CPESC), participated as panel in a public forum titled “Water: What’s Our Next Move?”, organized by SEPA to discuss Sabah’s water shortages and flooding.

The forum opened with a keynote from Datuk Dr. Ramzah Dambul, CEO of the Institute for Development Studies (Sabah), followed by a panel discussion with Datuk Ir. Ts. Gs. Br. Pm. Dr. Amarjit Singh, Mr. Vincent HK Tan, and Mr. Tsen, moderated by Benjamin Golimbi of SEPA’s Executive Committee. The aim was to build public understanding of the issues, explore practical solutions to water shortages, and identify next steps.

Mr. Tsen’s contribution focused on how erosion and sediment control, land management, and stormwater systems relate to water security — relevant in a state where flooding and water scarcity can occur during rainy season.
